Hi everyone!!
Guys, does anyone know a process to synthesize methylbenzylamine from any benzene derivatives, please?

Does it require only elemental Zn/Ni or complexes containing them instead?
I read on Wikipedia that must be don under high pressure (238-340 ATM!!)

CJ describes making 1-phenylethylamine. Is that what you want, or are you trying to make N-methylbenzylamine? That can be done by reductive amination of benzaldehyde with methylamine and sodium borohydride.

Both are interesting but anyway, I'm more interested in N methylbenzylamine

Reductive amination of benzaldehyde with methylamine then.
Straight forward and simple, high yielding likely too.
