A Japanese expert in gem synthesis, Mr. Oishi provided free guidance years ago on making tiny emerald crystals in a chemistry lab. It's an opportunity
for very advanced amateurs to try something like this...But one has to consider the considerable toxicity of beryllium oxide! I've collected some
information from Mr. Oishi and I'm sending it in a PDF attachment. Forgive please the slight flaws in the graphics and the missing photographs. I can
