Hi. Of the different subforums I thought this may be the best to post this news. Owsley Stanley dead at 76. Owsley, a self-taught chemist, was best
known for his amateur experimentalism during the sixties. Not one for the spotlight Owsley was also known for his, sometimes groundbreaking, work as a
sound engineer. Also known for his unconventional views on diet (all meat apparently) and his predictions of a global weather catastrophe, Owsley was
reportedly brought low by a car accident in Australia where he had been living 'off the grid' for some time now. RIP Owsley Stanley.

Yes, was saddened to hear of his death. Was sort of interested to see how his peculiar dietary experiment would have turned out. Obviously since he
lived to 76 without major ill health we can account it at least a partial success, but it's hardly dispositive.

They went with songs to the battle, they were young.
Straight of limb, true of eyes, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with their faces to the foe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them. Lest we Forget
