The CO2 scrubbing segment of the rebreather housed ~200 grams of slaked lime. From the looks of it, it did its job quite well.

Very nice, this is pure research and experiment!!! The balloon is quite hard to inflate and wastes you some energy, if there is something easier to
inflate without so much breathing muscles work you could very likely use your rebreather for much longer.

If you want to redo it, a plastic bag of some sort should definitely be used to make the breathing easier
