Can anyone tell me how to interpred Janecke diagrams or where I might find a book to explain (without going into too much thermodynamic and entropy
stuff etc)
Can they be converted into the more usual mutual solubility diagram?
Example of diagram included for your pleasure.
Usually they have much more pronounced 'tie lines' than this diagram.
I have Aqueous solutions and the phase diagram (book) which I will look at.
A 'one liner' explanation would be great

Taking another stab.....
Can anyone shed some light on these diagrams. Can a mutual solubility diagrams be extracted from them?
The diagram does not appear to show an area where everything is in solution, ie. no solid phase so that would (I presume) rule out what I am looking
for.
The more I study the diagram/table the more confused I get.
Original document attached. It is in Japanese which (BION) does not help.
edit:
Perhaps this link explained what I need to know?
Will have a look at it.
