If no one likes to do this then say so and I'll stop. But I find it fun. Did my third IR today except it is the product of an organic synthesis.
Guess what it was supposed to be (apparently a common compound whose synthesis is taught in "qualitative organic analysis" lab).
I won't give the the reaction used to produce it until later.

I'm guessin benzoic acid, but I'd be better able to fine tune that guess if you would give peak data.

No, sorry. It's a product of a Diels-Alder reaction.
