Reagent Co-opt

chefportal - 19-10-2020 at 19:26

Hi, I often get the chance to buy solvents acids and in reasonable quantities of 25lt and quite often synthesis reasonable yields of HNO3 of around 68 - 70%, I have a 25Lt drum of H2SO4 that was 98 % when i purchased it getting a bit dark. Also have a reasonable lab setup as I used to do food science.

So if anyone close to me is interested in sharing the cost of reagents and maybe a play in the lab U2U me. I'm in Victoria

Damn. I'm three hours north of Victoria, but it's the wrong Victoria.

Damn. I'm three hours flight south of Victoria, but it's the wrong Victoria.

Thanks for sharing the lab photo. Your lab looks nice, very clean and very organized. Too clean? :) I wish I had a space like that.

ps - I hope you never get an earthquake

That is a very nice lab, I wish i had such a place for my experiments.
I would never be able to keep it that clean though, i have stuff everywhere and sadly not in an organised way.

I'm about 3 hours away from what's left of the original Victoria.

Nice setup.

My Lab Setup

I got used keeping an organised lab as in food science, there is not a lot of room for messy labs. I’m planning a small Reno soon and hopefully some new equipment.

You have an amazing lab! I am in Sydney and would be interested in group buys of compounds, but obviously anything dangerous goods clas would be out due to the additional cost of shipping.

Damn, I'm practically on the other side of the world.

Annoying thing is that I have pretty much the same issue, I can get most anything, but I just recently had the issue with sulfuric acid - 2.5 liters cost just a little short from 25 liters, hence I ended up stocking the canister, although I only had initial need for a very small amount.

PS. Jelly of your lab as well. :P
