Is anyone here familiar with the Metzger Technik Vacuum Pump MWVD242.001? I don't know what type of pump it is, I'm assuming it's a diaphragm pump,
but there is so little information on Google aside from some for sale. I've looked all over and can't find any manuals or data on this model.
Metzger's site is no help.
I got a real sweet deal on it. Seller says it has no oil? Do any diaphragm pumps use oil? What kind? Any person who can help me find out something
about, I give my deepest appreciation ahead of time.

Diaphragm pumps don't use oil, i guess it's diaphragm pump.

The reference to oil was that the seller said it shipped dry.
I contacted Metzger, what a great company, they sent me a PDF manual. The reason information is hard to find is that the pumps are proprietary for a
specific company's equipment, I'm guessing some type of RotaVap.
There's a lot of these out there for sale at great prices. The specs are great for a lab diaphragm vacuum pump. I'm seeing these all over the place
for around 200 bucks in great shape, I actually got mine for $70.00 even including shipping. Small crack in plastic part of housing that I'll
fiberglass. Retail looks to be about 6-700 for a new one.

What is its maximum vacuum? What are the diaphragms made from, PTFE?
