A person on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ytg23mDd1a4, Bob Lazar) claims that the lithium isotope with mass number 6 (6Li) is a solution for
hyrogen storage for renewable energy. Suppossedly it can release the H2 from its hydride with much lower temperature compared to 7Li.
The 7Li hydride according to wikipedia requires 700 deg C to release the hydrogen. It is the best hydride to store hydrogen (in terms of
mass/volume of H2 stored) but the high temperature required for the release makes it impractical. Wether the 6Li hydride dissassociates at
lower temperature is a good question.
That person mentioned says that he makes 6Li using a particle accelerator. This seems to be a lie because:
1. A home-made particle accelerator cannot produce gram quantities of an isotope.
2. 6Li appears in natural lithium at 7.5%, so it is easier just to isolate it out of it rather than to produce it.
Data for the 6Li hydride dissassociation temperature are hard to find in literature.
What do you think. Is that person just showing off or does he have something to say?

Its all BS, look up Bob Lazar and you will understand.
