Came home to a bathroom full of this green goo.
Does anyone have any idea as to what it is?

Your bathroom was visited by an alien with cholera?
But seriously, some type of fast-growing slimy algal bloom that grows in very moist conditions. . .

Well I've been investigating for the past few hours and thus far from what I've discerned, my sister (roommate) had been laid off last night
(Saturday) along with several of her coworkers, one of whom which had a bag full of some new-age herbal substances. Apparently it had to be extracted
from the plants and vines so they went into a fully hardcore sweat shop in my bathtub producing this shit.
Next thing you know I come home and all the light fixtures had been ripped out and all my cologne bottles had been smashed.

You should make sure those damn hippies stay out of your bathroom in the future!

Without hippies, who'd make babies? JK.
Anyways did some more investigating. I found certain bottles had been tampered with. H2O2 was completely gone. H2SO4 and HCl were about half gone
each.
And no one even thought of giving me a courtesy call (at the very least). They just probably coughed their asses off like monkeys smoking in a lab.
Then for some reason they decided to rip out all the light fixtures! Like WTF! At least a few synapses in their brains connected to allow them to turn
on all the fans.
But leaving without so much as a warning! Gee thanks friends!
I don't know what this has to do with it but I also found a PillowPak dessicant pack...

Wow! Your extraterrestrial friends are heliophobic, dyslexic, are suffering from cholera and have now been bitten by the chemistry bug. . .

Oobleck, most likely. You'll be needing sturdy rubber gloves, a respirator, a stiff brush, lots of hot water, and plenty of elbow grease.
I suggest you refer to the classic monograph on the elimination of Oobleck....Conveniently titled "Bartholomew and the Oobleck". Authored by
Theodore Gissel, AKA Dr.Seuss.

What kind of newage herbal substance where they extracting? Quite possibly you don't need a hazmat suit, what you need for cleanup is a bong or some
papers and a bag of cheetos.
anotheronebitesthedust - 9-8-2010 at 00:44
I spent days cleaning up with garbage bags full of matter. There was way too much goo just to be from plant matter alone. I'm guessing that the H2O2
combined with HCl. H2SO4 just confused the reaction.

So in total the missing chemicals were:
Hydrogen Peroxide
Hydrochloric Acid
Sulfuric Acid
Sodium Hypochlorite
Would've been interesteing to see on such a large scale though. (Far away of course).
