I am designing as a hobby a fluorocarbon surfactant as a lubricant for snow skis and would like a little advice. After researching on the net and
performing small scale tests I have determined that a fluorocarbon attached to an ethyl group works great however in my patent research I have found
that using a disulfide bond between two of these molecules produces great results but I was wondering if you knew any type of functional group that
could be used as a similar concept. Such that the structure would be R-(group)-R'

There was a product known as 'slippery water' used in fire pumps and maybe sailboat racing that did basically what you are talking about. You might
not have to reinvent the wheel.

This is the material they paint on the side of subway trains as an anti-grafitti coating. It causes paint to bead up.
