My friends and I have discussed this problem extensively. It seems there may be a power supply
failure on the dedicated FTP server. It has since been moved backed to an older computer
but problems still arise. It's being tested without some anti-virus/antihacker software and the
router has been removed from the loop to verify conditions. You will be notified when the problems
have been repaired. The idea of a dead server are perplexing due to the cost of
replacement.
