Does anybody here know how to seperate Sodium Nitrite from Sodium metasilicate?

Quite a few mixtures such as this can be separated by fractional crystallisation.
It all depends on the relative solubility and relative proportions of the components in the starting material as to how hard it is going to be.

How about using some sort of transition metal nitrate that will precipitate the silicate? Perhaps CuNO3 may work?
